It's a Secret

We've been keeping a little secret from my DH since he has been out of town and is sleep deprived. We are packing to go on vacation and trying to get everything done so he won't have to do anything. So far he is too out of touch to have noticed anything. (It is hard to notice anything in the dark when one comes in after all are asleep and leaves before anyone is awake.) I am not inclined to list all the things we've done as we've been working since Wednesday. There was a lot to do! If my plan works out right we will pack most things tonight and leave early a.m. So far the kids have been great sports and not said a word. They've been darlings, especially loving the good soaking from washing the cars. It is a good lesson for my little darlings in doing good for others not expecting any kudos. Of course, I've been lavishing them with hugs, kisses and treats for a job well done. Shhh......
