Do You Believe in Fairies?

I've been so neglectful of this dear little corner of my life that I'm sure no one ever comes here anymore. Perhaps, like the rest of my house I should drop in here more often to dust the corners and make this little space look a bit more hospitable if not welcoming. On the other hand, as I am decluttering, should I purge it altogether? Should I throw it into a box destined for the trash as something that served a purpose for a time, but is now just taking up space? Several times I have had my hand hovered over the delete button. Were it not for the memories for the kids I'm sure I would have pressed the button.

Now is not the best time to make this decision with all the turbulence in our house. I really should let the dust settle and perhaps then my enthusiasm for this little site will spring forth again. For now, it is like a little winter here even as the weather begins to warm up.

Due to all the little disasters in our home, (I will not enumerate, but just yesterday the electrician stepped through our ceiling and thankfully he wasn't hurt) I have nothing to post about our homeschooling. It just doesn't exist at the moment. I am grateful the children read and do enough math so that I can say we are finished for the year. Alas, it is summer already; ready or not!

On the other hand, an account of our daily adventures with the thousands of things rushing in, out and about here would be humorous, but it happens in such rapid fire manner I doubt I could do it justice, much less remember it all at the end of the day. Indeed, most of these events I am trying very hard to forget! I'd also like to be charitable to those who are working hard in this house and doing a fine job, even though the means to the end have been less than charitable toward family life.

I am asking the dear readers here to please put up with me a little longer while I discern the future of this little space. When I started it, I intended it to be a place for my children away from home to come to get updates and not feel so far away. We are all now in one home and they get their information first hand. So, dear reader, if you would care to comment and inject life, do you believe in fairies?
