Yesterday did not happen as I had envisioned. The Italian meal was made, but not the homemade pasta. The meal was consumed, but not in the dining room, even though the table was prepared. I should've known. Didn't Mother Teresa say something about making God laugh by telling him your plans? I'm glad God has such a great sense of humor!
After we rolled with the punches of yesterday we woke to Dibs' stomach troubles at about 2:00 a.m. JPII followed her at about 2:15. Between the two of them DH and I got very little sleep. At least we had fresh linens for them to soil. I had just changed the beds from Nobby's Saturday retching. I must've had a premonition because as I was making the bed I thought to myself that the wonderful feeling of fresh sheets would likely not last long.
God must be laughing still because I had planned for a productive school day today! I took the time to go through my curriculum making notes for the things we would discuss. At this point I think I'll just pull out the "Blood and Guts" science book I found at the curriculum fair.
From now on I'll refrain from reporting my rose-colored plans and just stick to reporting the gory details as they happen. I'm sure the reading is much more interesting that way. :-)

Sorry you're going through it. We sleep-walked 3 children down to the basement last night when the sirens went off. Pippo awoke barfing on the floor, so we had to sit there (not very long, thankfully) and smell it all together.
Poor Pippo! I hope he feels better today. My Dibs and JPII are having a blast on the bathroom floor now watching "Annie". It is all I can do to keep Nobby away from them! I'm sure this thing can mutate and hit us again before it goes through all of us.
