Going High Tech

Just because the techy things are difficult for me doesn't mean they need to be out of reach for the children. As we've been putting more of the children's work in and on the computer the line for computer time is growing. Yesterday I had to say, "Please, only do one math lesson today." I never imagined I would have to say that! As a result we are looking in to purchasing some cheap laptops and ear phones for some of the children so they can work at the kitchen table. I have a place where they can be stored when not in use. This can really have a huge potential for good in our homeschool. It can also have many drawbacks so we will be uploading some good safety software. This has the potential to significantly shorten our school day as we can all get our work accompished at the same time for many subjects. If anyone knows where we can buy two/get one free, please let me know. :-)

I love that adorable picture on your blog!

Good luck on the computers. Don has been looking at $500 laptops a lot recently. IDK why. We need a big computer.
