National Pickle Day November 14

I would be amiss if I didn't spread the news that tomorrow is National Pickle Day. It is a big deal in my house, where we can consume a gallon of pickles in a day, everyday, if I were to purchase that many pickles. I don't because many of them have nasty added artificial colors and flavors that send my children bouncing off the walls. We only purchase them on special occasions. We've been talking about this day for the past six month, since we found out there was such a thing. How appropriate that this day happens to be the same day as my pickle-loving Bronky's half-birthday!! In her honor we will go pickle shopping today. Perhaps we will purchase an assortment of pickles to appreciate. Bronky insists on only dill.
