JPII is at the age where she becomes easily irritated with minor things. The kids were all trying on All Saint's costumes deciding on ones we could throw together quickly. She ended up being St. Michael the Archangel. She was very proud at first but the excitement wore off as she became tired. I was in the other room but heard her struggling with getting the costume off and yelling loudly, "I don't WANT to wear this costume! I don't WANT to be a saint!"
She finally relieved herself of her costume. She folded it very neatly and forgetting her frustration only minutes before she said to me very sweetly and all smiles, "I will lay this by my bed and put it on tomorrow."
Hmmm......I see more of myself in her than I would like to admit! :-)
