A Shower of Roses

Pictured below are the beautiful roses Tink brought for us in honor of St. Therese! We weren't only showered with roses on our anniversary, but also with new critters in the house. The little girls have a female beta fish named Therese, and the boys have a male beta fish named Pretty. These names are subject to change, of course.

Also, Bronky has been wanting a guinea pig since Autumn came to Sweety, so we finally found a suitable female guinea pig for Bronky pictured below. Her name is Espresso.
I may be crazy for acquiring these pets, but they really do help the children learn responsibility. Guinea pigs aren't that demanding to care for. They are gentle, warm and cuddly - perfect for adolescent girls. The beta fish may not be so cuddly, but they are cute enough to keep the attention of the littler ones. Feeding them a little every other day and keeping the water clean in a small tank isn't too hard for 7 - 5 year old children. At least, I hope not.
While we are on the subject of pets, I should update you on our terribly obese, Casie. She has been on her thyroid medicine full time for many months and as of her last check-up she has lost one whole pound! ;-)

I think you're crazy ;) but my kids would all like to have you for a mother. Can they come live with you and help take care of your pets?

I tagged you for an easy game. Come play!
