P's birthday was yesterday. We went to the zoo per his request. His job was to direct us from one animal exhibit to another. Here he is studying his map. It is a wonder he didn't become lunch for some eager beast. We spent a great deal of time in the Elephant house watching the trainers maneuver several elephants through commands. An overpowering smell finally forced us to move on.
We are hitting the books pretty hard now that life is settling in to a bit of a regular routine. Taking the little ones out for lots more exercise too. It seems to me that fresh air and sunshine do wonders for conflicting toddlers. It works for me too! ;-)
