Pictures of Laundry Room

Here is the picture I've been waiting to share. This is our newly expanded laundry room!! It is too tight to squeeze in there to get a picture that will do justice to this small space.

The entire area you see now with the counter tops and cabinets is the new space. The cabinets are the same ones that used to be over the washer and dryer on the opposite side of the room. Notice the cubicle in the upper left hand corner. This is the bottom of the new laundry shoot. The roller pull-out hamper at the bottom catches the laundry.

The area that can't be seen on the opposite side has two stackable washers and dryers and the same utility sink that was in there before. I tried to squeeze in there to get a picture but couldn't get one decent enough to post.

This is the greatest room ever!! I spent most of the day in there washing bedding and loved every minute of it! Believe it or not, the room is very quiet even when all machines are running. I can fold and sort clothes on the counter top. There is also an area to hang clothes between the laundry shoot and cabinets. Sorry this can't be seen from the picture either.

I guess to truly appreciate my joy you should stop by for coffee and bring your laundry too! :-)
