The first day of the fast wasn't too bad. I prepared a number of items I can snack on during the week while the kids maintain their usual diet - or so I thought. The aroma of one dish after another drew the children into the kitchen like little flies. "It's not for you", I would say realizing that telling them no would make them want it all the more. So far the kids enjoyed everything without one complaint. Had I told them they HAD to try something they would have run from the room for sure!
We had the t.v. on a while today because C, T and J are sick.
Girls are finishing their books and taking math tests as I contemplate an advent full of adventure - taking a new turn in the curriculum???
