Can you see the waterfall? There is a stream that meanders through the back yard and leads to a lake down the road.Our primary goal before we leave is to find a way to the top of the waterfall (without breaking any bones in the process). We've been hunting crayfish, digging up rocks and dodging predatorial insects between naps this a.m. This evening we will be roasting hot dogs and making smores around the outdoor fire pit. My dear husband woke me out of a sound sleep last night so that I could see the night sky with its vast blanket of millions of stars. Incredible!! Well, typing this was fatiguing so I think I'll take another nap.
