Confession - A Radical Sacrament

I am absolutely shocked that in my ranting yesterday I neglected to mention the wonderful sacrament of confession as a means to radical graces!! Oh my gosh!! Confession, here I come!

Who wants to go? Of course, no one WANTS to go admit all their shortcomings, sins, and omissions. But by saying them aloud to the person of Christ through the priest and receiving absolution I become the person God intended me to be from the beginning.

The sacrament is probably the most radical (besides the Eucharist) because it requires the most courage, but Christ is there with radical grace to aid, cleanse and restore. While he can't do that instantaneously for my wrecked house, he can certainly do that for my wrecked soul!
