Counting Easter eggs... At this age it really is a big deal. The dying, decorating, hiding, finding and counting, counting, counting. My main concern was that we find them all NOW to prevent someone from finding a nasty one several weeks from now. A six year old wants to find more than his siblings because he thinks that is how he "wins". The older ones share because they know how much it means to him. The littlest ones just love to hunt and find. This simple tradition symbolizing new life really is a big deal!
