Lentil Soup

Rocky and I read together the story of Esau and Jacob. Esau sold his birthright to Jacob for a bowl of lentil soup. Later in the day I made Lentil Stew for the family lunch as I hadn't made it in a long time. Everybody loves it except for Bronky who won't hear of having lentils pass her lips. As Sweety was eating I asked her how she liked it. She said, "Mom, if the lentil soup was this good, I can understand why Esau sold his birthright!" (The recipe is in the La Leche League cook book.)

Yesterday wasn't a bad day for school considering it was our first day back from vacation. Today will be more of a trial because I am sleep deprived due to Nobby being up a lot last night. The others are serving themselves a breakfast of chocolate chip muffins I made over the weekend and froze for just such an occasion as this.
