Spring Fever

I am going to have to rethink our schooling situation now that our kitchen is finished. Schooling was so much easier when we were confined to the basement during the construction. None of us could go back upstairs because we couldn't. There were workers always at the door so we stayed in the basement until around 5:00 p.m. when the coast was clear and all the work - theirs and ours -was finished. Now that the kitchen is in full operation we are constantly up and down the stairs. Once we are up the stairs after lunch time the reasons are endless as to why we should not descend the stairs again. Just the fact that it is spring time is reason enough for me! :-) Who wants to do school in the basement when one can read a book on a swing or under a tree?! The basement is fine for cold, yucky, rainy March, but this is April! Yes, that's it! We have spring fever!

Now this is making alot more sense. We'll have some subjects a.m. in the basement when it is too cool to go outside and the other subjects we will do upstairs/screened in porch in the afternoon. We'll have to get a daily walk in as well for the little ones, pic-nic lunches and late afternoon river walk nature hikes! I'm liking school better already. :-)
