These pictures show the final version of our new kitchen. It has been finished for a while but we've been very busy with school and finishing touches to be able to get a picture until this evening. The hole in the wall in the final picture is where our master intercom unit was until late yesterday afternoon when the gentleman came to fix it. Apparently the repair couldn't be done here.
The first picture shows the double ovens which have a bread proof feature. This has proven to be the most useful to me. It's awesome for letting dough rise, making yogurt or making buttermilk. (This is the geek in me shining through.) It also has a convection feature which allows me to cook three trays of rolls at a time or three pizzas at a time in a single oven!
You can't see it from the picture, but above my cooktop is a faucet to fill large pots. The cooktop itself heats food incredibly fast. Boiling water takes just a few minutes in my largest pot. There is also a pull out light and exhaust vent over the cooktop that I didn't have before.
At the sink there is a faucet for hot/cold filtered water and a separate faucet for washing/rinsing dishes, etc... There is a dishwasher on either side of the sink. The second one isn't visible from this picture.
The wall of cabinets surrounding the refrigerator is our new pantry space. The cabinets and drawers are deep and wide! There is a place for everything. I keep my appliances in the highest cabinets and use a fold up step ladder to reach them.
That's about it! I love it! :-)
