My liver condition kicked in yesterday. Our schooling will take a bit of a turn the next month as we progress towards my due date and managing this illness. I've loaded up with lots of books from the library from the Catholic Charlotte Mason suggestions. We will use nature study journals and literature journals to record our thoughts, drawing and other things. We will still do the daily math, latin and finish the last tidbits of text we have - very little of that. Of course, our religion is definitely on our daily agenda.
M wants to experiment in the kitchen more. This is a fun age. She is very into the domestic side of life. She was pouring over one of my cook books today. We will have to discuss nutrition, however, because the only ingredient she found we were lacking through and through was all purpose white flour. Well, there is a very good reason why we don't have any. Yes, a lesson in wheat tomorrow!!
Also need to refresh myself and the children on the steps a bill goes takes to become a law because I completely forgot another judge was to hear the case to give permission for the feeding tube to be reinserted into Terri Schiavo. UGH!! It doesn't look good for her but God is good and justice will be served either in the long run or the short run. J said he heard a talk show host ask the audience to phone in to tell him just what the parents of Terri are going to gain should they win. They have absolutely no personal benefit whatsoever. Their's is a parent's lot - sacrificing themselves in service and care of their children. Of course, love doesn't have a price tag. The talk show host also said that if Terri dies then these judges need to be tried for murder.
